APPLICATION Shear connectors are used to tie concrete to steel beams and to resist shear loading between the concrete slab and the steel beam in composite construction.
FERRULES All orders for studs include ferrules. Please specify weld thru deck of flat ferrules are needed. For ferrule specifications for welding in the fillet or on the heel of an angle please consult one of our representatives.
MATERIAL Low carbon steel, ASTM A108, 1010-1020. Also available in stainless steel.
